62,000 is the max recommended for the d1sc. You have some room to go still with your unit.
Oh shoot! I didn't realize I was pushing the D1SC that far. I'm only spinning the blower at 52,000 rpm (4.75" pulley), I figured I still had more room.

I guess I may be upgrading if I want to push it much further.

What is the most power someone was able to get out of a D1SC? Im sitting at 815whp with a 4.75” pulley. I could drop to a 4.13 or 4.25 pulley to max the blower but I am curious how far that will get me (I’m thinking about going built motor).
OP not to rain on your parade or anything but your whp number seems high for a D1SC with a 4.75" pulley. With my S197 gen 1 coyote and a 4.5" pulley only made 740whp also on E85, similar setup to you (sai li fuel system, headers and free flowing exhaust.) What peak boost were you seeing and what dyno was that on? I know the gen 2 motor is a little bit more efficient than gen 1 but stock for stock there is only a 15 HP and 10 Tq difference.

Well you rained on it.. hope you're happy. JK, Yeah, it may be off but not off by much i dont think.. My boost on the 4.75" is way higher than it should be as well (about 17 psi at 7500rpm). I had about 22 degrees of timing on my e85R tune.

On my 5" pulley on a separate dyno, it made 715 rhwp (12.5ish pounds of boost)

Yea 17 psi on a 4.75" pulley seems high, but would explain the power difference. My 4.5" pulley made 13 psi peak with the boss manifold with pulls to 8000 rpm on the dyno. I wonder if the crank pulley is larger with the s550 kit. I always thought they were the same size from 11-17.

8in on the stage II kit

I shouldnt be making as much boost as I am, but i have confirmed it.

Same here - currently running the D1X with the 4.5" pulley on E85 - seeing 830ish rwhp at 14psi.

Mine is 8" too, not sure where you are getting the extra boost from, lol. How far below sea level do you live?

About 700 ft above sea level. I know i shouldnt be this high of boost with a 4.75" pulley but I am. No cats either so no blockage.
