Has anyone had any thoughts about replacing the vacuum gauage with the ecoboost gauge if they are going to supercharger or turbo they V8?

Is it worth it? Is it possible and how difficult?

I will be doing exactly the same thing the hard part is picking which charger I wanna go with. I'm leaning toward a whipple.

I'm leaning towards the Whipple and FRPP for the power train warranty.

Whipple all day long for me. Loved my last one on an 05' and looking very much forward to the new front inlet on my 15'. Get to keep the strut tower brace and multiple options for cold air intakes.

Is this for sure? Keep the tower brace has been high on my list, if the Whipple lets me keep it then thats the blower I go with.

Yup! Would love to replace the vac. Gauge with a boost gauge. I have absolutely no idea what that would intale other than buying the boost gauge from Ford.

I guess we'd have to figure out how to take off the aluminum trim piece, I wonder if after that, what next. Anybody?

As far as the Supercharger I'm inclined to go with the new Whipple designed just for the 5.0L. But...it seems to sit just a bit taller than the Roush, at least from what I can decern from photos posted. If it does sit higher than I think the Strut Tower Brace goes bye bye, which is a huge disappointment to me.

I think that the Whipple ultimately will prove to be a better product though.

BTW FRPP is no longer offering the Whipple like they did in 2014. At least for now it's only the Roush. The good news is I think (not positive) the STB will fit over the Roush Blower.

BTW...I tlaked to a Tech at Whipple, he said that the new SC for the 5.0 comes with a CAI

As did the one for my 05' but it was rear fed and made it so only Whipples CAI would work. Their new one being front fed I'm hoping there might be more options.
