Hey everyone,
I'm working with Ortiz Performance on a tune for my 2019 Mustang GT and just got my base tune file. I was told to start with 93 octane and begin with idle and drive logs only — no WOT pulls yet.
Couple questions I’m hoping to get some help with:
Any tips or pics would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
I'm working with Ortiz Performance on a tune for my 2019 Mustang GT and just got my base tune file. I was told to start with 93 octane and begin with idle and drive logs only — no WOT pulls yet.
Couple questions I’m hoping to get some help with:
- How exactly do I data log idle and drive logs?
I want to make sure I do it right the first time — what parameters should I log and how long should each log be? - Do I need to remove the insert on my Roush Cold Air Intake?
Ortiz mentioned the tune was made for the Roush intake with the insert removed. How do I confirm it’s out? And if it’s still in there, what’s the proper way to remove it without damaging anything? I have no clue what the insert is, what does or even looks like. need advice.
Any tips or pics would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
