I would wait until they have GHIG as a color choice. I really like the new Yellow color and if I was buying now, would DEFINITELY go with the orange, it is amazing.

I had the exact same dilemma between the same two colors. I ordered magnetic and then after I was having serious thoughts back and fourth about changing to ruby red. I really wanted the black and saddle interior. The saddle interior I did not think would look right with the ruby red so. I decided to go with my first gut instinct and stuck with the magnetic. I was immediately vindicated with the decision as soon as i saw the magnetic car that I ordered. Stick with the magnetic, you won't be disappointed! Good Luck!!

I wanted Guard as my 1st choice and Magnetic as the second. Ended up with Magnetic because they could get one the day I was shopping. When I went to pick it up it was in the showroom. I didn't think it was my car because it looked like a lighter grey sitting under all the fluorescent lights. Then in the parking lot near some trees and grass another guy pointed out that it looked like it had some green in it. Since then I've noticed it reflects some of the green off of trees whenever it is near one. Kind of cool, wondering if others had noticed any color shifting like this on theirs?

Maybe i'm just old, but when I think muscle car I see red, blue, or yellow in that order. Orange, green, purple are also cool. Leave grey and all its shades to the boring mid-size FWD CVT sedans.
You're something, maybe it's old. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though, and mine is that magnetic and ingot silver are the best-looking colors for this car. Personally I dislike blue or yellow mustangs. Red is legit.

I agree silver is the best color without any striping. But magnetic would be in my bottom 2 or 3.

Oh lawdy you got that right! I went from a lifted black and chrome silverado to an ingot silver mustang. Let me tell you, that truck was BEAUTIFUL when washed and waxed... like a posh, angry, gleaming behemoth you could see your reflection in. The downside was EVERYTHING you didn't want showed up on her. The slightest spots or water drops, scratches and nicks, and pieces of dirt... POLLEN. Ugh. Plus she was too large to fit through the automatic car washes around here without something getting scratched so I had to wash her by hand which took me hours to do thouroughly, and I couldn't do it in direct sunlight and I also needed a step ladder. Fudge ever doing that again.

Owning a little silver car is so much simpler. Nothing shows up on it and a good wash barely takes 30 minutes. Course I added a set of black Shelby racing stripes... :headbonk:

How ironic you say that because I added gloss black shelby stripes to my IS GT!

I HATED the matte black ones everyone seems to get, but I really liked the gloss ones. I've toyed with taking them off but they actually look really good, and nobody around here has gloss striping. I don't understand why matte is so popular but maybe I'm an outlier.

I wasn't saying silver isn't great with some color stripes. But I think some other colors with a specific color stripe look better than silver with any stripe. But for unstriped car's silver is my first choice by far. Silver with black stripes is great but for example not quite as great as white with with some stripes. But a white car without stripes is far down my list.

I have been a member of this forum for a year and a half, and from reading the posts on color choice, it seems obvious that triple yellow is a "love it, or hate it" color.
I chose triple yellow because I guess I am in that "love it" group. I have seen other cars on the road that were yellow, and I always thought how they stood out from all the other cars out there. A very "sporty" look I think. I am not disappointed one bit in my choice.
I live in the Houston area, and I have not seen many Mustangs in yellow, But I have seen a lot of Camaros in yellow. And several imports too.
And look at the other upside of owning yellow. You never have trouble finding it in a parking lot. LOL.
