OP, they ALL look good, the S550 is a fantastic looking car. Period.

Now, do you want something more classic and understated like white, silver or black? Do you want a less common, in-your-face color like red, yellow or orange? Do you want something with a metallic finish like Magnetic?

If you're considering an interior like Redline, you'll probably want a more neutral exterior (white/black/gray) - if you think you'd like to use a non-red highlight color for aftermarket parts, then colors like DIB or Yellow make a great starting point, and you can do all those killer touches like matching DIB (or Yellow) calipers, intakes, IM cover, etc.

FWIW, my last few cars (all of the sport/performance variety) were:

Black with red touches
Gray (metallic) blue highlights
Yellow matching yellow touches
Silver with red interior
Black with red interior (current, my '16 GT convertible)

Again, they all look so good, even if you're 99.999% confident in your color selection, you'll still come here, see a different color and think, "Oh man, I should've gotten X" :D

started at magnetic, ended up with CO.. magnetic is on every ford, ever....
That's badass it's not being offered in '17, I like rare variants ... you know, which is why I went with black ...

If I had a choice to do it over. I would go with magnetic. While all of the colors available look good.

Magnetic shows off the body lines better than any other color. Doesn't matter the angle or lighting, magnetic really blows away the others.

Pull off the badges and without a rear spoiler you would think you were looking at an Italian exotic.
um...when was the last time you saw a grey "Italian Exotic"? ;)

A simple google search for grey Ferrari or grey Lamborghini is all you need.

Take a trip to your local ford dealer and look on the lot. It's the only way you will be sure.

The S550 looks good in every color. It really does, but between the grey and ruby, I would take ruby every time. Its a great color.

My top 3 colors are Guard / Ruby Red and then Magnetic. I was looking at Magnetic but cannot get over how dull it looks (to me) when in low light situations. I currently have a 'Ruby Red' color and love it but thinking about getting Guard since it is so unique and complex of a color.

Don't think you can go wrong with any color on the S550.

Well, except TY, CO, and IS. Those colors suck:eek:

I had both magnetic and now a ruby red. The ruby red really stands out more and gets more compliments. The paint seems thinner though and swirl marks show up more than they do in magnetic.

That worries me about the thin paint....I hate swirls and chips...(I like hot chips) not paint chips..

So far I think I will get magnetic and admire Ruby....We just have no cars in ford lots here to look at and I've seen none on the road :(
I also do like EVERY other colour on the S550's they all suit it and so much can be done with them...White with twin black or the Ford blue stripes looks great (but I have a white and black car now) DIB in certain angles looks awesome, I like Gaurd but it's so close to magnetic, Ruby Red with the Shelby stripes as in "show us your stripes" damn near converted me, Silver is nice and subtle but I've had a few silver cars, R-Red is awesome looks like a sports car and is such a nice red....ahhh the choices....I'd be happy with it in ANY colour truth be told...BUT, I think I will stay with Magnetic...

I went into the dealer looking for magnetic, but ended up with the ruby. I don't regret it for a second, but I don't think I would regret the other choice either. They're both awesome colors.

Having said that, one last wheedle for the ruby...
