I need some help ID'ing why my car is running so poorly.
Normally I can get it on the numbers +/- .02 or .03, adjusting as conditions change. -rain or shine, low or high pressure, everything.
For example, here was last event(look at 1000' as I was doing alot of braking for bracket).
I am now in a 5 day event this week, and my car is not running the numbers it has been running all summer(17 events, 110 passes). This week we have amazing weather and all measures of the air it is the best of the best, yet I am running .5-.7 slow. Whats more, I get a 'normal' as expected run in the morning, but then goes off in the afternoon. I've tried different gas for Day 3, its not the track surface, and I am very confident its not the driver (for this wide margin). The trans, oil, and cyl temps are the same each run. I run advanctrack off by switch all the time, but also tried unplugging dyno plug in troubleshooting but didnt help.Weather is steady, and all the other drivers I have info on aren't adjusting much during the days and running their best.
Any ideas? -I'm guessing stock tune's torque managements, but I don't know why I haven't seen it show up before, or how to get it back to being happy.
EDITED:
Just for future reference, I found the culprit. I patched my windshield washer fluid hose that was leaking (from FP Hood struts). I used a brass fitting to patch it for a quick fix weeks before, but it must have been rattling on fender/strut mounting surface causing random false knock. I properly fixed it, and back to printing numbers.
