I've had it happen before when I downshift to second, wait a few seconds, then mat it. Leaving off the accelerator then rolling into power makes it accelerate fine, so I've always assumed it was TCS telling me nah.
I suspect the algorithm they use for TCS just doesn't like when you cruise in power band for a bit and is a bit over-aggressive in that situation.
It doesn't happen if I roll in power more smoothly so maybe it's saving me from my own stupid.
