So i had my car custom tuned. It was tuned for 91, and i have not really been impressed with the tune. I recently found a place to consistently get 94 octane fuel so i wanted to try the sct canned 93 octane tune.

I went in to try and program it and it says "pre-loaded tune support disabled" Like they had to disable it to put their own custom tune on it. I cant for the life of me figure out how to enable the pre-loaded tunes. I cant find it anywhere in the settings or in the sct manuel.

Thanks!

Unlock the inTUNE by using the "restore factory" settings. Then put the 93 tune in

Thanks i figured it out. This site had been so helpful for me. I think its kinda lame that they make you fully delete the custom tune before using a pre-loaded one... So theres no switching back... Oh well. Thanks again.

Does it allow you to have the Lund tune and a shop's custom tune without deleting one of them? I thought it holds 10.

ya, but it wont let you use any of the pre-canned tunes that the sct comes with, without deleting all the custom tunes you have... kinda weird.

Isn't the Lund tune considered custom to the SCT? I guess my question is can I switch back and forth from Lund tune to a shop tune without deleting? Worst case if you switch back to a pre-canned you can just re-load the file for anything you delete right?

Can't you pull the tune off the tuner and onto your computer, and just reload it?

hmmm sounds about right... but whats the use of having 10 slots for the custom tunes loaded on the x4 device? cus bama tune offers 2 tunes and lund does 2 tunes as well.. is it possible to save the bama and lund tune on the device all together?

the better the fuel the more timing you'll see as well
