Hi. New to this forum. Running a 2017 Mustang S550 GT 5.0.

Picked up a SCT GTX tuner. Updated it via WiFi and all. It comes with one standard tune. A little disappointed. All I could really change is the octane. Changed to 93. I have a ROUSH CAI with the removable Venturi I was hoping to pull out. But the GTX under the airbox does not list the ROUSH CAI. It list JLT and others just not ROUSH. The GTX standard tune doesn’t let you do much at all. I did reach out to Lund Racing. Sure they can create one. I don’t have a laptop. Assume they could put it in the Derive cloud and I could get it there. Any suggestions or experience with this?

I did install an Airraid TB spacer. Seems to pep it up some. Don’t like the sluggish acceleration it gets at times. Seems better now since the spacer, new air box, and 93 octane tune.

Also added some TSW Bathurst 20” rims. Staggered. 255/35 up front and 275/35 in back. Think my speed is off much? GTX doesn’t let you tweak that either with the standard tune.

These handhelds are meant to be tools used to manage and load custom tunes, not to really use the canned tunes that come on them. They are but the vessel.

Also the tire size can be adjusted by the device itself separately from a tune.

Can't go wrong with any of the major 3, Lund, PBD or AED.

They know this platform inside and out.
