Okay so we finished with the installation of the Phase 2 kit and bolted everything back up, plugged everything back in, uploaded the base tune from Ken at Palm Beach Dyno and then went and fired it up and a notification popped up on the Dash board saying "Engine Coolant Overtemperature" even when the car is cold and the car is having a very rough time starting and after it does start it idles very roughly. Anyone have any clue what could be causing this? Any input will be very appreciated.

sounds like the ECT sensor is unplugged and the PCM doesn't know the temp

I've been trying to locate that sensor and also the CHT sensor. Do you knowwhere the ECT sensor is located?

So there is a engine coolant temp sensor?????? I though coolant temps were inferred from the CHT? Alot of tuners have some explaining to do....

Ok I found the CHT sensor wasnt plugged in, so I fixed that and then disconnected the battery to reset the ECU. After that, the same issue popped up on the dashboard again showing these below. There is air in the cooling system because the 2nd resevoir tank that comes with the roush kit isnt flowing any coolant to the pump either.

first thing use the X4 to clear the codes before jumping the gun. Then if the code is still present Check the harness for the CHT sensor make sure its not pinched. The 2nd tank is a stand alone system for the supercharger cooling system, that wont effect the engine temp, Still address the air in it. Im guessing there is a pinched wire causing the pegged gauge. Who installed the kit?

Would you elaborate on what wire was bad and how?
