What a PITA!
I bought the Whipple X-Large H/E and the VMP H/E. Of course I wanted to install the Whipple H/E but I was unable to install the Whipple with the pieces provided (even raided the VMP box) so I installed the VMP and it was a PITA.

After 8 hours of work this is where we shut it down for the day

I have always wondered which one would be better, the oversized whipple h/e or the vmp with the fans. I have a roush phase one and need to upgrade the heat exchanger as well since I have the tiny one like in your picture.

Buttoned it up today. I don't have a lift so I used the Hobby Shop (11 hours).
VMP provides a straight hose (~4') in their kit (no clamps).
Whipple provides a hose (~3') with a molded elbow bend in the hose; it comes with a male-to-male so you can connect another hose onto the end (2 clamps) in their kit.
I cut the molded elbow off the Whipple hose, cut some of the Roush hose back, used the male-to-male (and clamps) to connect the two hoses.
Run that through the hole you cut in the plastic beside the radiator (passenger side). Remember to cut some of the plastic back on the driver's side by the VMP H/E nipple so you can get the hose on.
I tried to connect the CWA100-2 IC pump I bought using the VMP IC pump 16" extension/adapter harness and that didn't work so I didn't install it. I will see which 2 pins of the 4 work and hopefully get that on sometime.
I installed:
VMP Triple Pass H/E w/o fans
Moroso IC Coolant Tank
Roush Warrior Front Open VMP.jpg

Before putting the front fascia on, checked for leaks and guess what, I had a leak. The hose on the passenger side of the VMP H/E nipple
was leaking so i used a screw clamp with the pressure hose clamp.

The Whipple Oversized H/E is definitely big. Biggest of the three. I could never get all the parts needed to install the Whipple; I tried using parts from the VMP kit but just wasn't enough so I installed the VMP triple pass w/o fans.
You can see the VMP is about double the thickness of the Roush H/E.

For the Pierburg CWA, I'm thinking about going with a tinyCWA to get around the headache of trying to figure out what plugs/adapters would be required to make it work with the Roush harness. It also has some really cool features that you wouldn't get with it wired into the Roush harness. I especially like the continued run time after shut down.

Their instruction manual shows the wiring diagram for the various CWA pumps. This should help you get yours wired up correctly and working.

Oh I'll have to check it out.

CWA100 pinouts.jpg

Very good. I knew 1 was ground, looks like true ground and not negative. 4 is power and 3 is the signal

I stand corrected, the VMP harness does work with the CWA 100.2
Now I need to figure out at what percentage is it operating with just power.
