Any ideas? Not sure what to do. Trying some different combinations of tools. I can move one side manual by spinning one side of a tube connected to the motor but can't really get to the other side at all!

If you can get to the motor connector you could maybe apply 12v directly to the motor.
I don't know of anyway to get it to move manually.

Scared to give it power. The seat and carpet got all soaked on the drivers side. So I'd like to avoid it. Found out you can move it manually by pulling this little black tube off by the motor and spin it eith a drill connected but I can only move one side. Working on the other side haha idk

Update I pulled out this fuzzy rod and black tube hiding under the seat and was able to stick it in both sides of the track and attach a drill to the other end and move the seat back and forth!!

I have the premuim seats. The fuzzy rod was hiding in a black tube pushed into the top of the black plastic piece that goes across the bottom of the seat. It's coming out of the motor!

That’s the manual override… and you can also use a ratchet too if a power tool isn’t present.

However, usually on the Ford front seats, there are (4) smaller bolts that actually secure the seat to the track. I don’t recall the size on the S550’s, but it may be like a 10mm. If you get a bright LED and shine it up under the seat base you should find them at each corner.

Even if the track is “stalled” in a certain position, those bolts are still accessible. You can remove all (4) which would allow the seat to come off the seat track base. Then disconnect any other tubing/wiring that goes from the seat to the track before taking seat out of car.

I’ve had my fair share of power seat failures in the past (switches/motors/harnesses) - and that’s the way I’ve always dealt with it… just remove the seat from the seat track, then deal with the issues with the seat track or seat track motor assembly.
