Help me decipher this update

Got the following from my dealer today:

We had four GT350 orders placed for production last week by our Ford rep and yours was one of them. I would think we will see a vin in about 3 weeks with delivery in March.

But when I call FP, I'm still in Unscheduled Material Hold.

Does that make sense?

You should get a VIN# before it goes into production

Yes, makes sense. I got my VIN about 7-10 days after Rep pulled order. Will remain in UMH until VIN. Then status changes to scheduled to xxx week.

I'm 6 weeks in under unscheduled clean and no other updates. I was under unscheduled material hold for 3 months.

Okay, thanks. I thought once the order was pulled it went to unscheduled clean, and then sat there until a VIN, and then next was scheduled production. Was scratching my head a bit.

That's exactly how it is.. I'm in the clean stage now.
