Interesting. So can you keep the brake pedal pressed while doing the burnout or not? If you don't have the left foot on the brakes, does the ECU cut off the throttle when line-lock is disconnected? Just curious how 'idiot-proof' is that system .

Not sure what you mean. It is on a 15 second timer but I never do my burnout that long. I hit the OK to release it in the water but keep spinning until I am on dry track so the tires are 100% dry and hot.

Once engaged, take your foot completely off the brake. Line lock holds the front brakes and the back tires are free to spin without their brakes being applied. ECU does not cut the throttle when you disegage line lock.

Hitting the brake pedal while line lock is engaged also releases it.
