Hey all,
I recently made an idiotic mistake and manage to break my belt tensioner when pulling apart my engine to fix a blow-by issue…
Issue is, this tensioner came with my Edelbrock SC (E-Force Stage 1 #1586 for 2017 Mustang GT (2300 series)) and I don’t see any replacements on Edelbrock page, nor any similar tensioner online.
The only information I see on the part are misc. numbers: 19-8, 16-35-1, 0188164, and 383 however I can’t get any leads with this info.
Does anyone here recognize this tensioner, and/or know of any tensioners that are compatible replacements for my SC model? (Please see images below) I’ve found some tensioners that may appear to work but I have yet to reach out to these stores for confirmation. Additionally, I have yet to hear back from Edelbrock if they have this part, or a source for it.
Any and all information, or suggestions is greatly appreciated!
**EDIT**: I forgot to mention this is a 76.2mm tensioner. Also, I think it may be a Dayco brand tensioner. Similar models they have share the same rear pattern with the triangular design. Guess I'll check with them but please lmk if anyone else has any suggestions!
