Anyone ever have issues with the serpentine belt coming off the tensioner?

I grenaded a belt a while back and my new one came in today. I installed and everything seems okay except it seems to be jumping one tooth on the tensioner and the tensioner only. I adjust it correctly, start the engine and it jumps a tooth again.

I had this same issue on my 03 Cobra many years ago and it ended up being the alternator pulley throwing everything off. I don't see anything obvious but just wondering if there it anything to look for before I tear into this.

My car is a 2016 GT with an Edelbrock DP3C supercharger, fwiw

Well, I entirely removed the tensioner to check it over, seems just fine. When I reinstalled it, I noticed that there was an alignment pin but there was a decent amount of slack. I set it as far clockwise and reinstalled the belt to see what happened. Lo and behold, the belt didnt move.

I took it for a spirited drive and the belt stayed where it was supposed to. I ordered one more belt. My plan is to take it easy until the other belt gets here. Once it shows up I'll give the car the sauce and see if it holds up...I'll have the belt in the car just in case it shreds again.

So far, so good.

If you still have issues an ARS will probably keep it from coming off. It is for a 10 rib belt, so much more pulley for the belt. I am running it on my 6 rib. Got it for other reasons, but would probably help with it coming off the tensioner.
