You may make me get a Mustang instead of a C7.
I ordered my car on July 23rd, it finished production on Oct 27, then sat for a month until Nov 30th with nothing on record as to why. My EDD of Nov 15th came and went and I got a new EDD of Dec 31st.
I have X-plan pricing and HAD a $750 coupon and stuff that expired after my first EDD.
Now I KNOW the dealer can beat X-plan, so I was hoping some other dealer may help me out with the bottom line on how much they make from my car. Its a base GT, PP with recaros and an X-plan price of $34,800.
If it shows up on the 31st I still plan on giving it a chance; if the EDD is pushed back again, I am done. If the car was damaged at the factory, I am done. If the car has 100+ miles, I am done. It's taken the past two cars 20+ days to get to the dealer, mine has 8 left and still hasn't shipped so it seems odds are slim...which means I will wait a few months and gladly give GM $30k MORE for a C7.
Ford customer service has been as helpful as a rock, even the little issue of the coupon has bounced me to 3 people -- all saying "the next person can help you" when none of them do.
The whole thing has left a pretty sour taste in my mouth and I am really sick of the circle-jerk that is Ford customer service - from the salesperson/general manager at my dealer to the "regional office" of Ford customer service.
Any PMs or info would be awesome. And I know you're going to say contact FordService on here...as if I haven't already...multiple times.
