Yup. Bottom line is Ma. sucks. They go out of their way to make it difficult. (I believe Ma. is the only state that doesn't allow a temporary plate to be put on the car for transport home!) Amazing!

That's not true. I just got my GT500 in December in MA and they gave me temp plates to drive back to VA.

Yes that way is perfectly fine, but you can't have it the other way. You can't buy in VA and drive back home to MA with temp plates.

Well technically you can, as that's what I did when I bought my car from Koons and drove it to MA, but I came to find out that was highly illegal. I just sucked it up and hoped that I didn't get pulled over by the staties on my way home.
