Just go to the car show with the full tank. Most likely nobody is going to check your fuel levels
Negative. You have to go through "inspection". 1/4 tank and battery disconnected. Left early for work this morning and stomped the pedal at every opportunity. Will just rewash and get it back to current condition!

Could you use one of those $12 pumps from harbor freight? I have one and it's got an in and out side and a hand pump in the middle. Just stuff the tube down in your tank (make sure it doesn't fall off the pump and into the tank) and then just start pumping it out into a gas jug

Isn't there a Schrader valve on the fuel rail to check pressure?

find a hose that will open that valve and run to a few red cans.

Go KOEO and let fuel pump run until enough fuel is pumped out.

I believe there is an antitheft measure with the capless gas system. I believe there are two flaps, the one at the top that is easy to see and one further down. Dont they have a fill tube in the trunk that allows you to keep it open? Could be the reason you can't siphon it.

Otherwise, let those bald eagles sing and do burnouts errywhere.

So these tanks don't have a drain plug?

Only take a few WOT runs to take my gas tank down, the GT has
no problem making gas disappear. . .you have to pay to play

Why not pull the bottom of the rear seats and do a partial removal of the fuel pump assembly just enough for you to put a siphon hose and use a pump to remove the unwanted fuel

Sorry this post is ridiculous.

Just run the tank down. Who cares if you just got it detailed. A quick once over with some waterless wash / detailer spray will clean it right up. Driving it isn't going to put swirls in the paint... It is clearly the easiest solution.

Go up about 10 posts and the OP said he was going to do exactly that... the rest of the responses were either from people that do not read or that were trying to be funny (or both... :))

Go to local auto parts store and get a fuel pressure gauge kit. it will have a hose that goes on the fuel rail access port ( schrader valve) it will also have a pressure release valve. Rig tape or something around that pressure release button and run the hose to a jug. Start the car and idle. Will take 10-15 mins, but will bleed off enough fuel. At the same time doesn't bleed so much that the car won't run.
