You said: Zero toe create the least tire wear. I currently have zero toe and my front tires are corded in less than 1000 miles. I just checked all of my alignments over the past 3 years. It looks like the cording started when they went to zero tow. I was previously at -1/32 toe and never had issues. I'll have them add slight toe in and hopefully that fixes the issue. Thanks to all for all of your valuable input.

You don’t have zero toe, either you have a suspension/ geometry problem and your toe change way too much under braking/acceleration,or whoever aligned your car screwed up.
Think about it, zero toe mean that the tire is at 12, pointing straight ahead
Toe in mean the left tire point to 1 and the right to 11
Toe out mean the left tire point to 11 and the right tire to 1
What do think create the less wear?
Obviously when the the tires point straight ahead

I also don't think he's got zero toe. The printout says he did, but I'm not sure he did after rolling a few miles. I suspect something is whack.

The reason why people say slight toe in may be better for wear is because of bushing deflection and toe changes under braking on track.
