I finally hooked my android phone to the Bluetooth in my 2019 GT and for some reason when I get a Text Message the notification is........LOUD!!

How do I turn it down since by the time I recover the notification is over??:inspect:

BTW.....I damn near ran off the road yesterday when the notification BLASTED me.....sounded like a Train Horn!!:curse:

I think if you go into "Settings" on your phone, then "Sounds and Vibration", then "Volume," then use the volume slider beside "Notifications" to reduce the volume of the notifications, this might help you out!

I did that but have not had a text in the car yet.......may also change the tone to something less alarming??

Funny how the ringer isn't that loud and it's turned up to about 75%??

Ya....I'm not really sure then...but I know when I'm listening to music from my phone in my car, and I get a text, it comes out fairly loud also!

Well.......I figgered it out!!

I changed my phone notification to a softer one and this afternoon the damn thing BLEW ME OUT AGAIN!!

I stopped at the nearest convenient place and went into the settings and phone settings.......and found there are 3 different "Text Notification" tones and a volume control beside each....it seems the previous owner (a Ford Regional Mgr.) set the DAMN VOLUME at MAX just for kicks!!:punch:

It now notifies me at lower volume and works VERY WELL.........thanks for all responses!! :whew:
