I need to find a way to launch the car harder. Have every bmr suspension piece. (Least I think I do). 3b convertor on a 28" slick. Car hooks but can't seem to sixty for shit. 1.53-1.6. I really thought I could sixty in the 1.4 range consistently. I have a two step but reluctant to hook it up as I've heard they are rough on valve train. I'm also not a fan of the transbrakes on these car. Had one on my 13' and it seemed to mess with the shifting.

Running 10.5 lbs boost on the corn. Approx 750 rwhp. Stock 315 gears.

Can't seem to build any boost at the line. Pushes through the brakes before it'll build any.

Any suggestions or do I need a looser convertor.

a 2 step will help build boost by dumping raw fuel into your turbine ...(anti-lag)

He's pushing through the brakes though and doesn't want to run a trans brake so I'm thinking a converter is probably his best solution and if he's still not happy with his launches he can add 2 step.

So how does the 2 step allow you to build boost without pushing through the brakes?

I do have a 3b. Convertor already. Dreading taking it out and sending it back in for a restall.

No handbrake. Sometimes it'll push earlier than other times. Maybe 26-2800 Rpms.

I have the Hellion twins with a 3B and a 2-step leaving at 2900rpm @ 2lbs of boost and only can muster the best of a 1.59 60'.

Hey any chance you can shoot me vid of your exhaust. I want to change mine but don't want to spend the money on a new exhaust without hearing it first.

Wonder why that's the best you can 60? Any suspension mods?

I don't have any vids of my exhaust after the turbo install, but it is quiet.
All stock, but 5 boxes from BMR just showed up Friday. Probably won't help at the track because I wasn't spinning, but hopefully it will help in Mexico.

seems too tight, being twin 62's you wouldn't be seeing much if any boost at 2600-2800rpm, it's locking up too early i'd get it loosened to 3500rpm at least.

You have to worry about blowing through the converter. At 10lbs a 3c would be better. I had a 3c and it worked good under 850rw. My 3b is at its limit at around 1000-1100. Really need a 2b like in my 14. You could try 3.55s, or if anyone makes adapters to add extra calipers to the rear for more braking grip.
