Does anyone else find the accelerator pedal way to low for heel and toe shenanigans? I have full access to a machine shop and thinking I will make a plate that sits under the pedal assembly to space it out. Wondered if anyone else has done it?

you can buy a "billet" plate thats like $200 in the states, or you can do what alot of the yanks did and go home depot and buy some ptfe/silicone hard plasticy stuff type spacers bring it up about an inch, or you can be a cheap ass like me and just stack a load of spare washers under it. depends if it'd cost you much to make a little plate / set of spacers to fit under it.

I was in the same boat at first. A little practice and it works nicely. You just need to get used to the idea that you’ll have very little of your foot on the stop pedal. Shoe width helps a LOT.
The bigger issue is that if you lift the pedal, the heights won’t work if you’re braking hard. Eg. Track use or similar braking aggression.

I got big ass feet so it's doable but would be easier if it was higher if you make something and it works deffo be interested in it
