After quite a bit of research, I need an Axel Back.
Maybe Borla or Corsa; Corsa seem a little pricey. Albeit, I'm sure, or should I say, I'd expect it to be good quality...

I've watch a few videos on both Borla and Corsa. The Borla doesn't seem as loud, and would probably suit me better (leaving the stock Resonator).

Anyone here with Borla's on an s550, 2016 or 2017?

I sent an email to Lethal Performance. Thanks
Thanks for the email! I monitor the support Account so I will get back to you first thing in the Morning.

I see your latest post about wanting an Axlebaxk, so we can certainly go over some options on different set ups and do our best to point you in the right direction.

By the way, Atlanta is a great city. Was just there this past weekend. Everything was great except 400. That was a little aggravating, haha.

I'm a new '17 Mustang V8 5.0 GT owner.
Met another Mustang owner at QuikTrip today. His car was a '16, and he mentioned that he just put 'headers' on.

Now, I want to add more sound to my car. HOWEVER, I don't want it obnoxiously loud. But more 'throaty', if that makes sense. His car sounded how I'd like mine.
true
So, my question(s):
- what are headers?true
- will it make my Mustang have a sort of deep sound?
- easy to install/have installed?

Yes, I could have Googled this, but, I wanted expert opinions and answers.
So, thanks in advance

Congrats man!!

Just depending on your future goals with the car would determine the best set up for you. You will probably end up wanting to go with a high flow cat set up if you don't want it to be too loud for you. Feel free to shoot me a PM or give anyone here at Lethal Performance a call and we would be glad to get you all set up 561-753-8105. We carry some of the best brands out there and have a discount for forum members!

Well, well, well, I just went to Injected Engineering, and the bloody shop is around the corner from my house (ten minutes away). Who bloody knew...!

The gentlemen in there were knowledgeable, and have giving me a few ideas. It seems a Corsa CAT Back is the way to go. Good sound (not too loud), and easier install, too, no cutting.

Time to decide on:
- Listen to a few videos of Corsa's online
- Which Corsa
- When to have it done

My missus just approved the modding of the '17 Mustang GT s550. She's suggested a CAT Back; since there is no cutting. And thus I can change if I wish without worrying about previous cuts, and such.

Oh my goodness. This could become very expensive...

Join the club brother!!! If you buy the catback do the install yourself....it's super easy and will save you a good bit of money. I'm about 17k deep in mine already. It's an addiction man

I currently lack the tools and the space to perform said installs.
But, after looking at the catback today, I was actually under a Mustang, it looked really easy. Merely loosen a few bolts, take down stock, install Corsa cat back another brand...

You got it! I did mine by myself in less than an hour. Just mock it up and make sure everything is lined up to your liking before you tighten it up and your good to go!

No cutting on header install either, ARH catless long tube headers bolted right up to my Corsa Extreme "Catback". ;) I did bleed quite a bit though.
