When you installed the headers did you reuse the stock gaskets or the sealant that came with them?

I reused the stock gaskets no leaks so farWhen you installed the headers did you reuse the stock gaskets or the sealant that came with them?
Difference in temp? Brand? Who was tuning?I just used the old gaskets also ..No problems ...But so for it is no faster than it was with the stock head pipes and cats ... 2 tunes so far and the car doesn't make any more power , if anything it lost some power .. The car just feels flat and lack luster in the hole power band ...I'm getting custom tune Monday and see what happens... I don't have my high hopes at this point .. Right now I think the hole thing was a waste of money , I sure hope I'm wrong.. The car ran 11s with the stock head pipes and cats ..Now 12.25 is the best ..
That sounds like a tuning issue not a header issue. Think about it, you put on more efficient primaries and collectors and eliminated the catalytic converters. You have a larger amount of air that can now flow out the exhaust ports and out the tail pipes. As long as your tuner can dial in the car, you should be making at least a 20-30 more horsepower. Unless you ran 11s on a very cold day with great DA and now your comparing it to a very hot day with shitty DA.I just used the old gaskets also ..No problems ...But so for it is no faster than it was with the stock head pipes and cats ... 2 tunes so far and the car doesn't make any more power , if anything it lost some power .. If you're doing anything fun with this car, it's illegalas someone who just got into the exhaust research..does this make your car technically street illegal because catless?
I have one more pic but it's just from the side doesn't really show anything lol.did you take any other pics of the install with the k member removed?
DA was 1200 running 11.90s .. DA was 1700 and running 3 tenths slower ..If the headers and tune lets say gives you 30 to HP that would have covered the little bit of DA change easy ..That sounds like a tuning issue not a header issue.
