I got my long tubes installed today. Got about halfway home and noticed my check engine light on. Air/Fuel running a flat 14. Then I heard a plastic tink tink against the road as I was driving. O2 plug popped off on the passenger header bung.

I tried to get my hand up in there but it's just far enough away that I can't put the plugs together. What a bummer. I'll have to be chill until this gets sorted out.

But damn... Exhaust got loud on me. I don't know how some of y'all go with the more extreme exhausts and no cats. I've got the Corsa Sport catback, and added BBK 1 3/4 long tubes with the high flow cats. This thing is nasty.

I also had them cut out the midpipe section that condensed down to 2 1/4 and weld the midpipe right to the x-pipe so it's a straight 3" from the collectors.

Dying to get on it, but I guess I have to be patient. Had a highway patrol guy follow me for several miles out of the shop then the damn sensor problem. Crap.

Borla touring resonator will help you tone it down some.

I'm good with the sound. I can keep it under control in normal driving. It's loud, but nowhere near as bad as it could be with a more aggressive exhaust system and off road/no cats. I haven't had a chance to really get WOT yet, but it's going to scream.

Im running the SP LT Headers, no cats, H pipe with magnaflow comps (essentially resonators). It was too loud for DD (Drone, start-up in the early morning), so I cut the H, welded in 2 SLP resonators and it's perfect. Interested in the Corsa exhaust though, video it when you can!

Good lord. Lol

I got my o2 plugged back up. No check engine. Car is pretty damn peppy for sure. Have to see if my MPH goes up on the track app quarter.

I can keep mine mild, but it definitely roars when you get in it.

I don't have any drone at all. Windows up cruising at 70 was just fine.

I'll have to figure out how to get some video. Home alone til Sunday so my cameragirl is absent.

Yep. Swapped out my X-pipe for the resonator this past weekend.

Car feels faster as i was reluctant to give it gas due to the overwheliming exhaust sound after I installed catless headers.

Much more enjoyable to drive now.

How much is the borla touring resonator? Does it diminish the power output any?

The sound of headers with the corsa sport at WOT is something i wouldn't mess with...it just makes you wana drive the car even more. The first time i drove mine after switching from the FRPP touring i thought to myself 'because racecar' lol...no turning back now. I'm used to it now and love it, but i will admit i still miss the FRPP touring idle and lower rpm sound

I think it's about perfect the way it is. Cold starts are a bastard, but regular driving is great. No constant drone, and the Corsas just have a nice growl to them. It's a little exotic, but beautiful.

I'm sure that Vette sounds mean. My 90 Saleen was 1 7/8 long tubes through off road and Flowmasters. That car had 475 to the wheels with a Vortech. Back in the days of car alarm vibration sensors, no one was safe from my wrath.

Cold starts are a bastard is an understatement. My flex fuel setup on e85 is in my sig and my car cranks like a mofo and never starts on the first push start try or remote start in 60 degree weather in Texas! I can't imagine being in a northern state rofl. I asked lund if they could add a bit more timing and fuel on cold starts, but they said anything more might flood the engine so I just kinda live with it.

It shouldn't be that hard to start even on E-85. I've never had to push the button twice even on a 40* morning. It does crank longer than it used to on 93 but it's at most 2-3 seconds before it lights up. Needs more cranking fuel mass commanded most likely. Mine has 25% more cranking fuel mass added vs 93 and that makes it almost as easy to start as 93.
