Header aftermarket gasket question

Hey all,

I just bought some Pypes LT headers, and they came with a pair of gaskets. I've read that I should just buy a set of OEM gaskets because the Pypes ones aren't that great, only problem is, I can't find where I would buy an OEM set of gaskets from. Does anyone happen to know where I could get a set? I saw kooks gaskets on americanmuscle, but read the same thing about just getting OEM gaskets. I also need o2 extensions and I found those on americanmuscle for $60, I'm assuming those are the only choice.

I'm going to have a shop install my headers, just want to make sure i have good gaskets before I do so I don't have to worry.

Unless you have tons of miles I'd just reuse your original gaskets.

Buy a new set of OEM Ford gaskets. They're pretty cheap. That's what I did. The ones that came with my ARH headers were pretty crappy imo.

Where can I buy the OEM Ford gaskets? I tried googling a couple times and tried places such as levittown Ford and couldn't find them. Maybe I'm just missing them in my searches.

I bought a set from my local dealership. They have the part numbers handy.

If you need them right away, call dealerships around town, the part number is FR3Z-9448-A.

If not, get them online. Levittown has them and they are all over ebay for a few dollars more.
