Warning to others. I was cleaning my dashboard and pushed down on the HUD. Didn't push hard, but one side unclipped and is in a bit on the dash. You can't really notice it when it projects on the windshield, but it bothers me. I have full ESP and am considering having it fixed, but don't like the idea of the dash being disassembled -- rattles... Alternatively, I wonder if the windshield was removed I could get at it and somehow pull it up. Any thoughts let me know.

Have you tried something like 3M trim tape stuck to a plastic trim tool? I have parking stops in my garage that don't move b/c 3M sticks so well.

3M Super-Strength Molding Tape, 03614, 1/2 in x 15 ft, 1 Roll https://a.co/d/aSOhlaN

I worry you might recreate the issue trying to scrape off adhesive, but that might be worth a try before you tear apart the dash.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
Can you get a small suction cup on it? It’s a flat plastic lens, right?
