Moderator just forwarded me your screenshot. I will have the technical team look into this since you should be able to close it.

We'll be working out kinks and making refinements on the mobile side in the coming weeks so bear with us.

I like the blend of mobile-friendliness and the "traditional" desktop view. As for the black bar, I assume it's the thing where you dismiss the advertisement at the bottom of the screen and the ad itself disappears but the black bar where it was displayed doesn't disappear. I'm seeing that too.

I'd rather have the option to use the "classic site" or non-mobile version. This one is terrible.

I agree 1,000,000 percent!
When you hold the phone normally you don't get the "full" page. If you want to add an "smile icon" you have to flip the phone. And when you do that and tap to reply, the keyboard takes up 90% of the area and that stupid "x" is in the way. Pleeeeease change this.

Yea this new setup is awful. I would love to just be able to go back to the previous view.

The worst part is every time I refresh the page a @#&@+ ad pops up and takes up 1/3 of my screen

Yeah, I'm not too crazy about the pop up ad and new "mobile version" either. Maybe it will just take some getting used to, or maybe I will only browse from my PC from now on.

Instead of having the forum auto-detect the type of browser and then serve a mobile or desktop view can the mobile version be accessible through a different address (for example m.mustang6g.com) as many other sites with mobile and desktop versions do? I think the mobile version is great once a few things are fixed and having a separate URL for it would allow people who prefer the desktop version on their phones to keep it without having to switch their browser to report it's a desktop browser.

Instead of forcing the mobile style on everyone, we've made it a selectable "Mobile Style" in the pull-down menu on the bottom left of the site. For those that prefer to use it, we will still be making improvements to it.

All of the other styles will default to the original full site version.

One thing to note that applies to all styles. When using the site on your phone or tablet, if you Log Out of your account after being signed in, be sure to click on the "Go to forums index" or click on the general index link at the top. Do NOT click on "Return to the page you were previously viewing" as this will result in formatting issues that causes the options at the top to not display properly.

Here is a screenshot to illustrate:
