set it, and go.

have you read the owner's manual?
I have not, I am at work. I set it and reved it up and thought it would stop and hold the RPMs at the set RPM, it does not.

From what I know, it holds the front brakes, not the RPM's. You are in control of engine speed.
You're thinking of Line Lock, not launch control.

Did you actuality try to go, i.e. dump the clutch while hitting the gas? Or did you just rev the motor? I'm probably wrong, but I think it will keep the revs in 1st gear down to your setting until you are going forward at a sufficient rate... again, I'm probably wrong. Also, I did see some youtube vids on this subject.

It feels really weird, but you have to floor the loud pedal, dump the clutch and VROOOOOM :ford:
