I have a friend in the Flat Rock Plant who works on the engine line. They re opened on the 14th of June and are working through the backlog. Currently making 393 cars a day.
Can’t even order them anymore in the UK!

maybe he’s telling you that because he would be going crazy trying to change orders on a daily basis. I’ve had my Hellcat color changed back in 05 but they had to call regional manager and such so it’s a process. Imagine trying to do that if you sold dozens of cars it would be impossible also the regional manager would probably do it once or twice but after that he wouldn’t.
when did you order? I used to get emails also but haven’t in several weeks. I got a window sticker with a blend date of 6/28 I’m hoping mine should be built this week so I’m thinking maybe the closer to build you might not get emails

The orders can be edited but only to a certain point. Zach changed mine multiple times because I was a pain in the ass and could t make up my mind. I dont remember what event triggers the cutoff but at some point Ford locks it in and you can’t make any changes
It very well could have added some time to your build unfortunately. The HP is worth the wait though. If you haven’t already looked into ceramic coating and protective film, check out benchmark auto salon in lynnwood. The FJG paint is so nice looking it needs to be preserved! I am very happy with the work they did for me.Yes the heat is nasty right now!! We ordered through Van Cleve Ford in Morton bc my husband wanted to support a small town dealership. We actually did change our order in June to add the HP. Probably pushed our order to the end of the line

Sure. I requested an order change about 2.5w after ordering. Given the other changes here, it was well within the time frame.

I feel exactly the same way, tired of being jerked around with no end in sight. Close to buying a Camaro SS 1LE. Although if you get anything than a Civic Type R you should be flogged.
