Has anyone had a 17 GT Power pack 2 and gone to a 3 W/O the Tune kit from Ford?

Ah did not know that; I am not happy with Ford Performance not selling their tune; and even if you have the power pack 2 and want to upgrade.. you have to buy the whole darn power pack 3 kit... So I get what you mean a tuner can adjust the power pack 2 tune to accept the upgraded intake manifold...

A year after I installed the power pack 2 on mine I installed long tube headers and had to go to a local tuner to get the CEL turned off. He wanted to play with it and get me more power but I said no, just turn off the light. I didn't wan't to lose the drive-ability and low end grunt of the ford racing tune.

Someone in this thread claims the tune is actually the same, only parts are different. But I doubt as pp3 has different red line.
