does anyone make a cowl hood for the gt350? (new to the owner ship of one of these cars)

both to be honest look and i need it to help clear a cj manifoldActually, a hood made for a GT or Eco will not fit a GT350 (and vice versa). There’s a few differences that causes the hoods to not be swappable (without some modifications). So a cowl hood for a GT/Eco will not fit a GT350.
OP, I’ve not seen much in the way of aftermarket hoods for the GT350 unless you look at some place like Anderson Composites. They might have something you’re looking for. Are you having some clearance issues that you need the cowl for or just going for a different look?
Did the CJ come with different motor mounts? Thought I read that somewhere, to help with clearance issues. If not, I’d look into that, lower mounts should help with clearance. Unfortunately there’s just not much out there as far as aftermarket hoods for a GT350 go, so getting the cowl look will be difficult.both to be honest look and i need it to help clear a cj manifold
i could be wrong but from what i read thats what you need to do if you only do the steeda motor mountsThought that Manifold said you needed to cut the secondary structure of the hood for clearance.
unfortunately it does not. from what i read and i could be wrong here to get it to fit under the stock with out cutting hood you need to do steeda's motor mounts and bmr's motor motor mount bracket.Did the CJ come with different motor mounts? If you know a good metal fabricator, maybe look for a wrecked 350 and find a hood that is salvageable. A good fabricator can probably cut it up and weld in a cowl for you. Parts Farm, Midway Mustangs, CoPart would be good places to look. Parts Farm and Midway have eBay store fronts.
The GT350 is wider than a GT/Eco at the fenders, so yes, the GT/Eco hoods would be too narrow. I believe there’s a few other smaller details that affect fitment as well but that’s the big one.unfortunately it does not. from what i read and i could be wrong here to get it to fit under the stock with out cutting hood you need to do steeda's motor mounts and bmr's motor motor mount bracket.
i would also like to know what doesn't fit when you put a gt hood on a gt350 is the hood to narrow?

if you do bmr's motor mount bracket with steeda's motor mount i think you can get it to clear with out any cutting and to be honest i would rather not cut my hoodThis thread shows everything really well on the 350. Still needs engine mounts and interior Hood Trimming.
