Had to move on.....unfortunately!

Well I purchased my car last year in April I think. Over the course of the year I have had the worst luck ever! The car had been dependable but I had to stop modding because I would have blow out, window damaged, that and that....just a constant issue to the note of close to 3K in addition to my note. Well I cut my wheel hard when parking the other day and noted that one of my brand new tires was worn out on the inside. I just had an alignment in December! Anyway that was just my last straw.

I went to Capital One and got pre-approved then contacted a local Ford dealer. I did their True-Car evaluation and they offered me a really low trade number. I had been offered 2K more just last month. Anyway I keep texting a guy at a dealership and he was trying to take me through the ringer when I just told him I want to come in to get my car evaluated as a trade. I was going to get an 18 Eco-boost but was kind of disappointed it would be close to basic again outside of the rims.

Anyway I was on the way when I went on my phone and check out Camaros. I stopped in a store that had decent pricing and asked to get my car evaluated. I was shocked they gave me a really good price. The guy was like is that ok? On the inside I was jumping but I played it cool. I then told him I had financing, but the fact that they gave me more than I expected I got a car with a few more options. It is a 2.0t and I LOVE it! This chassis is truly world class. Anyway it has been real and I will miss my Stang but I have to admit I am in love.

Thanks guys I will miss the car I really did enjoy it. I was just unlucky with stuff happening. I am just glad that we have amazing American cars that are attainable and fun to drive.

I spent close to 3K sorry doesn't have to make sense I was just over it.

Shoulda got the V6 though! Got to appreciate that they let you add options on to every level.

Sucks you had issues with the Stang, hope this new Camaro is flawless and you get to enjoy it!

I agree, it doesn't have to make sense to anyone else, only to yourself.

I purchased a brand new Prowler on Ebay then flew up to Tulsa, OK to take delivery and drive it back to DFW. Banged my head on the convertible frame all the way home in the rain. Didn't make sense to my wife, but it did to me.

That trip was one of the few times that I drove it with the top up.....problem solved.

I see you're already getting the window fog. Hope you're aware of that issue with the A/C air flow issue causing the windows to fog up. Being in Houston, you will probably experience it. You can read all about it on the Camaro forum and the "fixes."

I agree he should have gotten the V6 for the HP, the chassis is firm. I've modded my 16 GT to a stiffer chassis. BMR & progressive springs. Glad you are happy for now. Cheers.

I’ve travelled through more than a dozen US states, and I found everyone courteous and helpful. It’s wrong. You guys need serious help. There is a mental crisis in Everytown USA.
