'17 Ruby Red Convenience Pack

My car arrived at the dealership late yesterday afternoon, a whole day early. It needed to be processed through the dealership, cleaned and PDI'd though, so I won't be able to complete the sale until later today.

I did get to sit in it, start it up and generally admire it for a bit. It sounds like an absolute beast, and is beautiful under the coat of grime and dirt from the shipping process. I've really been second guessing my RRM color choice, but after seeing it in person I'm very pleased. Gorgeous.

The build sheet, along with some kind of shipping receipt, was inside the cabin so I was able to grab them before they were thrown away. The build sheet is a nice to have thing.

It is beautiful, Ruby Red Metallic is a fantastic color.

Put 50 miles on it this evening driving to a nearby town for dinner. Still getting used to the handling and feel of the car; it is not at all like the GT, far more different than I had expected. It feels best to me so far with the Magneride shocks, steering and exhaust set to Sport. The exhaust sounds like pure sex with the valves open. Loud, fun sweaty sex at that. Pretty sure my neighbors will end up hating me if I make a habit of driving in the neighborhood with the exhaust in Sport.

Edit: The sofa seats are soooo comfy. :love:

Honestly, I really loved my GT, it was/is a fantastic car and it was always a blast to drive. It looked so sad sitting there in the parking lot, forlorn and alone. I hope the next owner loves it and takes care of it the way it deserves.

Random stuff:

I had to get up at 3AM just to sit in the new baby and play with it a bit. Sync 3 is really, really nice. Far more responsive than MFT. The stereo is pretty much the same quality as the premium system in my '15 GT, minus the trunk sub. The soft touch rollover on the doors is a very nice touch.
