The better way to do it is to go have a baseline done on your car, then go back after your modifications to measure the delta. Mine ARH Full Exhaust/Headers, Intake, and Lund Tune. I'm not sure what you plan to do without a tune. You can't do headers or an intake.

Cleaning is not any different with a coating, dirt is dirt. It just protects the paint.

2 coats works, but certainly isn't necessary. Others were right suggesting even coverage. I would have let it cure over night before adding another layer. Now that you have Cquartz on the car you'll want to get these to support it: Reload: to top it once ever 6 months or so...
