I've been running straight piped for a while now and I like the noise, but it's super loud and I feel like the tone could be better. What would it sound like with an x or h pipe? Better? Louder? Deeper?

I cant tell u how other piping would sound as i haven't heard them in person. I'm running an x-pipe with the flow master outlaws and it made it louder and a little bit raspier. the deepness i got from the outlaws even'd it out though in my opinion

Could you possibly upload a sample video of your set up? I have outlaws and I still don't know if I want an X or H and there are absolutely no videos on youtube of the outlaws with an X pipe for a 3.7 mustang. Thanks.

I got an h-pipe with a muffler delete and it's loud and raspy as hell, I'm going to get two Vibrant resonators installed to tone down the sound a bit and clean up the rasp. Also is your straight pipe a 2.25" or 2.5"?

yea shorties and an intake to make some sound up front is next on my list i hope the shorties will completely even out the rasp and just make it deep how the outlaws originally come

Mine took a decent amount of rasp away especially on the low and mid range almost seems like they evened out the pulses so it's not as sharp of a pop

My car is still stock but I'm planning on Roush and H pipe. I can't decide between O/R or not. I know it will throw codes and everyone complains it's too loud and raspy. But I don't know, I've only heard it once in person and it sounded good to me, but maybe I'm just wanting to think it sounded good. Any videos will be appreciated :p
