I am running them on my PP wheels, 9.5". I have 10" wide replica PP wheels for the rear but those have the MT street comps. The MT street comps are scary with this much power. 100 mph in 3rd and I was fishtailing while logging for Lund lol.
ha ha, so basically you are telling me, there is no tire that I can get to lay down all this power? :D :headbang:

MT drag radial II holds pretty good but only last 5k miles. Mine hold from the top of first on the street.

Lol, no street tire. Got to get drag radials. I heard that NT05r will last longer than MT ETs.

I was going to try and run NT5555R on the rear.

Another vote for Whipple and for all the reasons mentioned above and for more reasons that we even know about because I believe no one has the evolution of the Whipple kit.

I was an early adaptor back in February 15' and was blown away with what I got out of the box and look what Whipple has done to their kits and options since then. Nobody comes close to maintaining their kits to ever improve like Whipple, nobody.

You are just going to have to decide between TT or PD and make a decision of that alone. Once you figure out that question it's as simple as calling Beefcake or Whipple because there is no better.

I was looking at those today. I just found a good deal on the NT05r.
I have used EVERYTHING and NT05R is the way to go. i have them on my 800+rwhp 04 and they hook quite well in most all conditions. i wont even mess with any other street tires besides these anymore

best bang for the buck right here

and tons of room to grow. lots of guys doing really well with this setup
This is an option, however when you add the options to get what already comes with the Whipple kit, it will only be a few hundred less than the Whipple and you wont have to take up your time with remote tuning. The tuning that comes with the Whipple is hands down surpassed by no one! All of the FI kits offered by all manufactures will make big HP on this platform. There is a mountain of info on this forum, so do some research and buy what suits your needs.

I'd say go Kenne Bell or Whipple. Those are the 2 best options out there, in my opinion. The Paxton is pretty nice too, and looks amazing under the hood. That would be my 3rd choice.

So many choices! I'm in the same boat...no idea what I want. The only thing I don't like about the paxton is the plastic intake tubes...it's pretty unsightly IMO. And with Lund's expertise behind Beefcake all the cool whipple tuning tools don't give me any more reason to lean towards them. Maybe if I was building a weekend dragger...but I'm not.
