I have the 2015 GT Base Ruby Red, with the 18" Wheels, I like the look of a 20" , more wheel, less tire look. If I could swing it I would be happy with Fords 20" GT Premium wheels, but they are just too expensive. That said how does this idea sound and do the guys that know about fitment and the break clearance and all that, think its a 100% match. I read good reviews on the tires on many sites and they are a good deal pricewise.

Let me know opinions and all, especially on Fitment.

You sir have been very helpful, what do you think about the speedo, will this change affect that at all?

Thanks,
I dont see concern for that what so ever if it does its a 1 mph thing tops

Tristar - I think the 20x8.5 FR500 would complement the car really nicely. We don't carry the nexens here but I've heard good things about them from a friend and the sizing is exactly what we'll suggest to a T! Shoot me a PM if you have any questions or would like a quote set up and I'm here to help!

One maybe two last questions

So the deal is very good, the tire's deal is very good, but I am one of these guys that does not want some other name on the center cap. I want to use the Mustang Cap, looks like you can with what looks like a lot of work to make them fit due to prongs or something on the back the originals. Hard to believe A.M. or someone does not make a replacement cap for these wheels that have the pony or say GT or something. If I can find something , its a done deal I will have some real good looking 20" wheels and Nexen Tires soon.

I guess the other thing is, - can I use the TPMS Air thingys I have now on the new wheels / tires or do I really need to spend another 100 bucks for them and even more for some set up tool ???

Thanks for any info or opinions.

Chris you can always get a overlay of the pony to slap onto the cap. You can also reuse your tpms you just need a shop to do that swap for you.

Anyone know?

Does anyone know of a cap or overlay that would make the center cap have the Pony or Better yet the Tri-Bar Pony, I am ready to pull the trigger on changing my wheels, but don't want the center cap to be a hassle and do want it to be in line with the car, Pony or GT or Something?

Thanks for any info. Flaps / Tristar

Oops forgot

Also wondered what the biggest tire would be to fill up the wheel well without any fitment or run issues, I was considering 255/35/20 but cant really get a good idea of how they will look on my ruby red and how much they will fill in the wheel wells?

Thanks, Chris
