Anyone who says this color is not downright gorgeous is.. uh.. ;) We'll lets just say I cannot believe how good this looks on this car, especially in the sun. I like it as much as Dark Highland/Highland Green.
I love black cars, I always will, but I am very thankful that Tony Alonso and Dabko told me about how much I would like this color (being a former BULLITTHEAD.) They were right.

Once a BULLITTHEAD always a BULLITTHEAD! :hail:
I had a BULLITT for 12 years, I guess the dark green is calling me back. This color is a lot closer to HG/DHG than most people realize.![]()
Wow, that's definitely good to hear. It'll be my choice as well when I get one! Congrats on getting yours!!

Go back thru this thread you'll see all kinds of pics and opinions of guard. So, just how green is this colour? No two pictures look the same to me but if this colour is green I could be interested.
If someone saw it in the street in the sunlight would they called it green, grey or maybe gunmetal?
Trust me, I have and I cant decide. My perfect colour would be British Racing Green (is that sacrilege on and American car?) but I really dont like grey/silver/gunmetal. The pics are all over the place. Some look green and others look gunmetal.Go back thru this thread you'll see all kinds of pics and opinions of guard.
I've said it before, but you really need to go see it in person. I felt similarly, but after seeing it on a fusion I changed my order. I can see why some people would like it, but not for me. The pictures I've seen really haven't conveyed it in person, that being said, for all I know it's going to look completely different on a mustang than it does on the fusion. You could maybe see if you can order some touch-up paint bombs and paint a spare hood or fender from the junkyard to get a feel for it, since it's probably not worth the international flight to check out a color.Trust me, I have and I cant decide. I guess I will have to see one in the flesh and somehow doubt I will be able to before I make my colour choice
If everything falls into place. I will be posting photos of the Guard Mustang next to my '01 Bullitt Dark Highland Green this weekend. In either case, neither color is similar to BRG (Jimmy Clark's '65 Indy Lotus as reference ), since both are metallic. DHG would be the closest to BRG.Trust me, I have and I cant decide.
