today was a beautiful, sunny day and I decided to snap some photos of the fusion in guard. the color looks great. i took a bunch of weird angles, no actual good photo...
I am wondering why you said 'no actual good photo'? I am thinking because none of the pics you took are true to what the color looks like in person, am I right? Having only seen pictures of Guard it is an odd color IMO, not gray, not green, can be muddy, dark, or flat in low light, would you agree? I also think that it's not going to be a popular color, especially on the Mustang, which is one of it's biggest appeals for me.

In direct sunlight it is very green. In anything but it is a mix of gray green and black (especially in lower lighting). In Dearborn I believe it will be fairly popular. Most of the peope here are affiliated with Ford in some way they typically lease and they go for these new colors to try them out. I am on the fence about the rest of the country's take on the color. The public reaction on the Fusions has been very good here. Part of me hopes its popular while another part hopes I have a rare color and rare optioned Mustang. Either way I like the color and could care less just give me my 5.0 already!!

It looks different whichever angle you look at it. It's really good looking. The picture I re-posted above looks exactly how it looks to the naked eye (on my monitor)

I guess I meant I didn't have any 'whole' pictures. like the whole side of the car or the whole front or back. :/

It seems more and more people are turning away, makes our cars more rare :)

GT with PP! More!

Why the hell are people taking photos with bullshit instagram instead of the actual camera on their phone?
Well to post on Instagram, you take pictures with your phone and then upload them.

CJ Pony Parts is probably filming it and might come out with a video in the next few days.

I posted the video in the Magnetic thread. Is it just me or does it look Magnetic the whole video and then at the end look Guard-ish?

Most likely colour balance issues in multiple light source environment. Look at the picture, the lights at the top are 'white' while the pavement is orange. There are multiple colour casts in the image due to the different types of lights.

Oh my god, yes

Edit: it looks like it's a bit overly saturated with a warmer temperature... would probably be more accurate if those things were corrected. One thing's for sure, every photo I've seen that isn't washed out in direct sunlight, Guard looks AMAZING. All the photos where it is (aka everyone posting their personal shots in sunny FL or elsewhere) look really drab and dull.

Oh hell...

MUST RESIST! I love that look.

Fionic and I had the same mission today, I ran out to look at a guard green on a new fusion. I will post my pics later, but pretty much the same thing. In bright sunlight it really stands out. As someone said, its like a metallic olive drab in shade. The gray comes out more in lower light (when a cloud passed) but still, its a nice color.
