GUARD S550 MUSTANG Thread

also, i'd say this is most accurate as far as what the color looks like in normal daylight. it's pretty dark in the shade. the color just looks wonderful. can't wait to see it on my mustang.

That was my perspective as well. Its between black and guard for me. :-)

Fionic and I had the same mission today, I ran out to look at a guard green on a new fusion. I will post my pics later, but pretty much the same thing. In bright sunlight it really stands out. As someone said, its like a metallic olive drab in shade. The gray comes out more in lower light (when a cloud passed) but still, its a nice color.

I don't want to burst your guy's bubbles but the color on the car is Magnetic :(. I seriously thought it was Guard but I think the lighting and a possible filter made it look that way. I think I should leave it up though because it looks almost exactly like Guard and gives a good example to what it would look like with PP. I posted the video on the Magnetic thread.

Edit: it looks like it's a bit overly saturated with a warmer temperature... would probably be more accurate if those things were corrected. One thing's for sure, every photo I've seen that isn't washed out in direct sunlight, Guard looks AMAZING. All the photos where it is (aka everyone posting their personal shots in sunny FL or elsewhere) look really drab and dull.

I'm in IL, it's been perfectly beautiful for the past couple weeks. Very strange. Usually 100 degrees and miserable.

While it does look good on the Vantage, it just didn't have the same Impact when I saw it on the Eco-Boost Coupe I saw in Brandon.
