I think I'm no longer interested in this color. :( it was my number one based on earlier pics, like that one in showroom lighting where it looked more like a metallic highlander. It just looks like a cooler shade of black/blue/green in real world photos...

I kinda agree, even though that's what I'm getting! It reminds me of a jeep color from a couple years ago, black forest green. It really needed full sunshine for the color to pop. Anything less than that, like you said, blah. None of the other 2015 colors did anything for me so guard metallic it is.

I'm actually glad to see all the people saying they don't care for Guard! Daily driving the H1 gets lots of attention all the time...hope that doesn't really happen in the mustang, and they're basically the same color so I still love it.

So I just realized that you're the one who took those photos. Which dealership and do they have it there for a while or was it a specific event? I might make a trip to look at it today.

It's what I plan on ordering so it all hinges on how I feel about it in person. I don't care enough about the other colors in order to want to order one... save for maybe Ingot or DIB.

Funny, I originally ordered guard due to early shots of it and changed to magnetic a few weeks ago because guard lost is appeal to me. I still withhold the right to like it in person once I finally see it but it's magnetic for me now :)

Don't remember who said it... but the hard plastic trim on the doors/center console is not production... it's the "soft-touch foam" stuff found on the current S197.

This vehicle must have been a TT car, because TT's were built with that hard plastic trim.

PP's, MP1's, and MP2's (production vehicles) are built with the different material.

(Just in case anyone was put off by the notion of having hard plastic all over the doors/center console)
It was me, and yes, based on the car that I first saw, I assumed it was a TT after Topnotch mentioned what you have just affirmed. Glad you both have affirmed it, along with the people who are getting to check it also! :)

I think both of these colors are nice. My experience with Guard was that it is "color-shifting" and "complex" in that you have to look at it to fully appreciate it. I can understand why some might think "blah, boring" because it is a less "standy outey" color.

I also think you will like your Magnetic car.

Standy outey is not what I'm looking for that's why I changed to magnetic not CO or yellow. I just decided guard is too green for me and gets too dark in shade or low light situations.

Everybody has their likes and dislikes and for me magnetic has the best low light and direct sun appeal. I love the car in red, orange or blue but prefer a less obvious color.

Brandon Ford. The car was there for only a few hours for dealer training or so I'm told. No dealership employees were even allowed to drive it. A good friend of mine works there and told me a few weeks back it would be coming and he'd let me know when it showed up. He texted me some pics today and I went over on my lunch break. I'm in Riverview so it was only a few miles up on 301/60.

So here are some more pictures from Brandon ford today. I got some both in the light and also in the shade. My thoughts was that it is much lighter and grey then I had wanted. I also took a pictures of DIB and Magnetic as a comparison for myself to see if I wanted to change; Which I am thinking about doing. It was so much lighter then I had hoped for. I also found that IRL the color seemed much less transitioning. In the picture it seems much more grey and light focal points then faded to a darker green color. IRL it did not seem to be like this; Like Tampabear87 said it was just kind of a blah color. If I had to explain it I would explain it as a military Olive Drab with metallic flake in it. Even the hue that is gave off was just kinda weird. NOTHING like the green shown in the Build and Price.

Damn, that's a twenty minute drive east of my workplace. If your friend happens to give you a heads up for another near future appearance could you possibly shoot me a pm? I'm getting way too antsy.
