GT500 SE Hood?

It may be possible to add louvers to a stock hood, but they would have to be between the structural support braces. The SE hood is actually all one piece dry carbon which accepts the OEM hood vent.

What a beautiful machine!!!! If only it had a true manual transmission, I would have jumped all over that. I am sure you are going to love driving that car.

I have been driving manual transmission mustangs my whole life. Not one of them compare to this car, not even close.

Thanks for the kind words. The photo is my car at Mustang week in Myrtle Beach last year. I have had this car since December of 2019 and had the Signature Edition & wide body done last year. Nothing but smiles per mile for sure.

What I meant was adding these to a carbon gt500 hood. Wouldn’t it just be the same structure or can you not mod the carbon hoods?

I cannot speak to the replica hood as I have not seen it, but the factory GT500 hood (which is actually made of composite plastic) has structural braces running through where the hood vents are on my SE hood. You could add aftermarket vents to any hood, they just need to not cut into the support braces.
