Hi folks,

Ever since I picked up my GT500 (non CFTP) I’ve been looking for all kinds of different information on this forum. There has been a plethora of good information that has helped me with my modifications. The one thing that I’ve struggled to find are actual offset numbers by folks who‘ve changed their wheels. Not sure what the secret is, but there are many custom wheel companies on here that want to keep it close to the chest. I get it, but unless I was buying their wheel, there was little information they were willing to share.

Below are the spacer details and final offset numbers I used in my planning. Buying custom wheels is not cheap and I wanted the most information I could gather before making my final decision. Hope this helps someone deciding what they want in their custom wheel purchase. If anyone wants more pictures, I have both the factory wheels and Forgelines still mounted for a few days.

The first two pictures are of the factory wheels (driver side) with 25mm spacer on the front, 15 mm spacer on the rear. 315’s mounted in the front and rear. I essentially created a +7mm offset (32-25=7) in the front and +37mm offset (50-13mm) in the rear. If you decide to just run the 15mm spacer in the rear with the factory wheels, you will need to change out to the longer wheel studs. The front 25mm spacer was the bolt on type with their own studs, no longer wheel studs for this type.

I picked out a Forgeline wheel I liked, but again, solid information and good pictures to reference the offset numbers were hard to come by. These two pictures are the final Forgeline product.

Forgeline wheels 20x11 front and rear, (passenger side) 13mm offset in the front, 38mm offset in the rear. 315’s mounted in the front and rear.

I wanted to keep the 7mm offset in the front, but Forgeline could not go any lower, 13mm was it. The front does not stick out quite as much as I‘d like. I may throw a 5mm spacer in there.

With these offsets in the front, the only rubbing I have is a little smudge on the fender liner, pictured below.

My 11.5 wide wheels with taller tires rub in those spots and actually rubbed thru....behind that lower spot is a piece of metal and will cut your tires if you arent careful. I did some pretty major heat gun massaging and trimmed that peice of metal. Just FYI
