Hey Guys. First and foremost I'm sure this post sounds sketchy but I assure you its not. I've secured a 2020 GT500 allocation from a small town dealer I used to purchase my GT350 from. Things have changed (IE-2017 resale value) and I am looking to sell my 2020 allocation. I'm hoping to sell my allocation for $2000 which will get you a 2020 GT500 at $1000 over sticker. I have documentation to confirm I have this allocation. If you have any questions or would like to chat shoot me a email [email protected] or call/text 816-257-6678. I'm hoping to move this to someone on the forum who will benefit since I'm going to miss out.

Thanks!

Trevor

Hmmm

Thanks for looking out for us 2 post Trevor

Edited to add: you can't sell something you don't own. The dealer owns the car they order and they can tell anyone to piss off at any point in time.

How about you buy and take possession of the car and then sell it. Then you will have something real to sell. Your dealer agreement isn't worth squat.

I completely disagree.. I have the confirmation email as well as a physical deposit receipt showing the proof. While I appreciate your concern I am not in the financial position to take possession of the 500 while still owning the 350

You dont have anything to sell. The dealer owns the car THEY buy and they dont have to honor your agreement.

You could pass along the lead, but here you are trying to profit from it.

I'm going to report this thread.

So I guess you’re saying you had a deal for $1,000 under MSRP?

I like to disassemble things.
Around here we try to help one another by pointing out dealers that are willing to offer a reasonable deal. Not by trying to act as a middleman that profits from the deal. If you can't swing it then move on.

The way I read it is once you pay 2 post Trevor $2k, you hope you get the car with a 1K ADM.

Not trying to eat you up for trying to make a few bucks, but this is not the place for it.

This guy lol. It’s a car and a common one at that not a ticket to space on Rocket X but of course there’s plenty of suckers out there just none posting in here. What happens when no one buys in on something you don’t own? You going to buy the GT500? If not, it gets passed onto someone else at no charge. If this was a McLaren 1000S or La Ferrari hitting the streets and you have exclusive rights to buy over others then I can see this being good but it’s a Mustang. Like people buying stupid marked up GT350s and then selling them used for new price 2yrs later after realizing it was just another mustang with some trinkets.

By the way, nothing wrong with being a community watch dog.

I get it, but this guy thinks he has something of value. He doesn't have squat. I have an agreement with my dealer and they could tell me to hit the road. Many stories around here of dealers doing exactly that. This guy has a lot of nerve.
