After putting down a deposit on December 19, 2019, for what I thought was going to be a 2021 GT500 at MSRP, I got the call today that my dealership was given a second allocation for a 2020. When asked if I still want the car, my obvious response was HELL YES I DO!

The GM that took my deposit said as soon as a VIN is assigned, he will let me know. He said 2 to 3 months and I should have the car.

Congrats! It's a pleasant surprise!

I had the same experience knowing I was number 5 or 6 on my dealers list (even though I was put on it over 3 years ago before the car was even officially announced) I was ready to have to sit out 2020 and wait for a 2021, but I got the call last July, placed my order and promptly waited 1 year and 1 day to take delivery.

Worth all the waiting!

It is a great feeling. I had set my mind to hopefully having the car by this time next year. Not now. Early Christmas maybe.
It is as the car below. Only other addition is handling pack. Base car.
