Speaking of car auctions I am in the great state of Arizona and I hoping to get a ride in a couple of new generation 2016 Shelby GT350's tomorrow namely "PP002 and PP004" both of which of are GT350/GT350R's built way back in May 2015.

Interesting to note that these PP (pre production) 2016 GT350/GT350R's were built before the 2015 GT350 Anniversary cars!

They are both at BJ with the R model being TY/Black roof and is PP002 with the Track Pack car being PP003 and is RR with White OTT stripes.

I remember seeing these same cars at Sebring in October 2015.

Harry I just got back from Barrett Jackson and it was my first time there. Very cool experience, I should have reached out to see if you were going. Enjoy your time there.

Oh, I read it at as buy. I see now that you said ride. As in the Ford ride experience of whatever they have going out back. FWIW, the TY GT350R they had on display at the entrance when I was there was PP003, assuming it was a '16 but I didn't check the VIN.

Ted, sorry I missed you as would have been great to hook up as always fun to share stories and look at great cars with fellow enthusiasts in person.

Hope that your R model gets out sooner than later in Southern Ontario this spring.

PS: Watched the '69 1/2 SC/Rambler go across the block last night and with buyers premium it sold for just short of $50K. I watched the same car in Kissimmee last week and bidding closed at $67K but of course that car was a much nicer car.

Maybe time to let ours go after 21 years??

Yes, that car is a 2016 but built in May 2015 before all of the 2015MY cars.

PP003 has been involved in the ride and drive experience in the past as well with it's turn to be the display car all this week at BJ.

Very little rubber left on right front tire and what is left is mostly rolled over.

Doesn't matter when they were built, they are all 2016 models. Whether they were pre-production or not, all Ford did was put a 2015 VIN on the first group of 137(?).
