GT350R: Deep Concave Wheels & New Aero

[50 Deep]

Being the Director of the Ford/Motorsports Division for Signature Wheel has provided many cool opportunities. One of them is to continually innovate and push to get to that next level for our platform. I prefer to test everything we recommend on my own car first, in both street and track conditions. That has led me to latest iteration of my GT350R, and the presentation of Deep Concave wheels for the GT350R/GT350.

Most wheels have a concave profile ranging from flat, mild, medium, deep, and super deep. Prior to now the furthest that could be accomplished was a medium profile. After a few years of work we have finally made it to the deep profile. This can be done in a 19" or 20" setup across all of our monoblock construction wheels. It also means a larger lip on our Flagship design. These are a direct bolt on with minor alignments changes needed, but attainable without buying additional parts.

In addition to the deep concave wheels I have also upgraded the front aero package with components from Archetype Racing. The front of the car is completely sucked to the ground, and I was able to get Curtis to make a custom gloss carbon front splitter to match the rest of my car. We are collaborating on a new rear wing similar to the GT500/GT4 to balance out the aero package, and will be available for you guys soon.

You wont be paying anywhere near $20k. Signature Wheels are very affordable for fully forged Motorsport-focused wheels. Typically $4-5k for the set depending on the specific wheels and current deals.

I'll let other compare Klassen to Signature since I'm not familiar with their wheels.

Will depend on the specific wheel, but my 19x11 et52 wheels weigh 21.8 lbs IIRC

that works. When I had my Dinan S2 M5, the Dinan forged wheels were 17lbs. made a huge difference over the factory wheels at 30lbs. The Signatures won't be as light as the carbon wheels coming on the R--but i am not a big fan of black wheels (but could change my mind once the car comes.

I cant speak much on Klassen, but the owner of that car now has a couple sets of our wheels for track use. I don’t think anyone else is as adamant as we are about you using our wheels to their full potential on track, and engineers them with that use in mind. Retail costs on the wheels are listed on the website as a full set shipped to you. Always check with me though so we can get you taken care of properly

We build a true motorsports quality wheel that was proven to win during the last 25-Hours of Thunder Hill while on the Ford Performance Racing School car. Not to mention several of their other cars we work with. OEM carbon wheels are freaking bad ass, but have some concerns with cost of replacement and brake caliper clearance. You should definitely have us on the long and short list.
