Gt350 x pipe on a 5.0

Mbrp says their 3 inch x pipe for the gt350 won’t work on a 5.0 …why? Dimensions and bends look the same… I can only think of is where it connects to the OEM header down pipes. I have 3 inch mbrp race cat back and want to change out the h pipe for an x pipe. No options out there other then a 700$ corsa double x pipe or a gt350 x pipe

I believe you are correct, you’d need a reducer to connect the 3” X pipe to the cat pipes. If I recall correctly the GT350 connection is bigger than the GT.

after some further research ... the GT 350 OEM connection is 2.75 and the 5.0 is 2.25....so unless I got another adapter it wont fit
